Ages 6-8

In this playful workshop, young artists aged 6-8 will embark on an imaginative journey through various artistic mediums.

Students will explore drawing, painting, and mixed media, using tools like crayons, markers, pastels, and watercolors.

Through engaging activities that encourage observation and creativity, participants will learn to express their feelings and ideas while developing essential skills such as fine motor coordination and visual thinking.

As they experiment with colours, shapes, and textures, children will be introduced to fundamental concepts of art, including composition and storytelling.

This nurturing environment promotes self-expression and encourages a love for art, helping each child discover their unique artistic voice.

Group 2

Ages 9-12

In this dynamic workshop for artists aged 9-12, students will deepen their understanding of fine art techniques while exploring drawing and representation.

Participants will work from image references, still life observations, and their own imagination to create both traditional and non-traditional artworks.

Using a variety of dry materials such as pencils, markers, pastels, and charcoal, students will engage in hands-on activities that build their knowledge of essential artistic principles, including value, colour, gesture, proportion, and perspective.

Through guided discussions and critiques, participants will refine their artistic voice, gain confidence in their skills, and learn to articulate their creative processes.

This workshop fosters critical thinking and creativity, empowering young artists to express themselves and explore the world of fine art more deeply.
